Today, at more than any time in the history of the United States, we need Mexican American role models who have gained qualities from sports.

These individuals who have gained these qualities, have used them to be successful in their careers and in their everyday lives.

We need role models who have conquered obstacles and barriers to become successful citizens of the United States. We must learn to face obstacles and barriers and conquer challenges with positive attitudes that will yield positive results.

With a never quit attitude we will grow stronger everyday. All great achievements take time. The best player is always the hardest worker.
